I believe everything is done but the PGP, which needs to be skinned. A big thanks to y00tz for converting all of the old models to SKM and positioning them.
Sadly it will be impossible to get the hands to position correctly on all guns right now, but maybe in the future, I'll make some per-weapon animations or figure out how to code IK to make it look nice all the time.
Paintball 2 development is very community oriented. If you have an idea you'd like implemented in a future version of the game, you can submit it to the feature vote system
. Features with lots of votes have higher priority to get implemented. Right now the feature with the most votes is VWep (visible weapons in the player model's hands), so that's what I'm working on. There's no 3rd person PGP model right now, so I'm working on creating a new one, with a fair amount of detail:
Might be a little overkill for something you'll barely be able to see, but I'm going to try to make all the new models on par with current-gen games then add lower levels of detail to support the older systems.
The first beta was released in July of 1998. It was whipped together in less than a month, but development has continued off and on for over 10 years. Crazy.
Below is a picture of LoreOfSerpents and ButtaKnife, from GlobalGamers

Here's a picture of localhost, who won the semi-traditional "bag bag" contest. He was off by only 3, guessing 222 bags when there were 225.
He won a shirt, as well as 225 plastic bags.
I didn't take many pictures. I should have taken more, but oh well.
